Artist Takes Every Drug Known to Man, Draws Self Portraits After Each Use

This can be a myriad of cool, and everything your mother said not to do. Bryan Lewis Saunders is an artist from Washington D.C., not just any artist though. Saunders prefers to have a more unconventional approach to his artwork.

Arguably his best project, entitled DRUGS is called follows:

 “After experiencing drastic alterations in my environment, I searched for other experiences which may profoundly affect my understanding of the self. And so i devised another experiment where everyday I took a different drug and drew myself drunk. Within weeks I became lethargic and suffered mild brain damage. I'm still conducting this experiment but over greater lapses of time. I only take drugs that are sent to me.”

Below, you will see a collection of portraits Saunders drew while under the influence of various substances ranging from cocaine, to marijuana, to DMT. Each portrait is definitely an astonishing check out the mind of someone tweaked on drugs, a thing that your eyes will certainly appreciate.
